| On Monday July 29, 2002 at 6pm, The New York Coalition of Professional Women in The Arts and Media had their first-time ever midsummer event at The Players Club located at 16 Gramercy Park South, NYC. The event featured award winning journalist Roma Torre as special guest speaker. Roma Torre is well known as anchor of "New York 1 News All Day". The New York Coalition of Professional Women in the Arts and Media was organized in 1990 to work for the advancement of women in the performing arts and media industry. Also present at the event was Donna Karger, New York 1 producer of "On Stage". |
