City Comptroller, William C. Thompson, Jr. hosted a celebration recognizing Jewish Heritage and honoring a most distinguished group of leaders in the Jewish Community.
On this special night at City Hall, Thompson, suffering from "the common cold" could have used a bowl of chicken soup as was suggested by one of his guests.

The evening was filled with music performed by Composer and Lyricist Shloime Dachs, Vocalist Ira Heller. Throughout the evening, you couldn't help but appreciate the numerous contributions to the city made by the Jewish community and the praise the Jewish leaders had for their host.

At one point, the tables were turned when Thompson was presented with an award at his own event!

As the evening wrapped up, praise turned into suggestions that Thompson remain in city government as a valuable asset to the communities he serves. Special recognition goes to Dawn Littlejohn who works tirelessly behind the scenes, in front of the scenes and at the scene to insure this and all community relations events happen without a hitch.
