City Comptroller, William C. Thompson, Jr. hosted a celebration recognizing Italian Heritage and honoring a most distinguished group of leaders in the Italian Community. This was the second annual Italian Heritage Celebration event since Comptroller Thompson took office.
Judge Mazzarelli (in photo at right) is the only Italian American woman ever elected to the Civil or Supreme Court in Mahnattan
